Art of Africa and Wild Horizons offer an incredible and unique interactive session with the elephants. A three hour session provides guests with the chance to observe and share their time with these magnificent animals – truly engaging and connecting. Easels will be set up in the bush around the Wallow, awaiting the arrival of the herd, which descend to the pan to drink and cool themselves in the mud.

Creative Cruise on the Zambezi

Art of Africa invites guests on an exclusive boat cruise, setting off at various times of the day. Embarking on a 3 hour journey, guests are encouraged to interact with their environment on a more personal level. Armed with brush and paints, a guided observation of the magnificent surroundings absorbs and captures the ambiance of the Zambezi. Guests will take home their own piece of Africa, in their own shade of expression.

Art and Cultural  Village Tour â€‹

This interactive workshop ignites and fulfills cultural curiosity. After a cultural tour of the village, led by chief Mpisi himself, a private tutor, one of the chief’s sons, will be ready to guide the art session – a truly hidden talent on the Zimbabwean art scene. Spend time immersed in local culture, along with a traditional meal to conclude the workshop. Catching memories through oils, water-colours, beading or finger painting, this session will fill your visual diary with rich splashes of Zimbabwe.

Guided Walking/Driving safari and riverside picnic in the Zambezi National Park

The Zambezi National Park is a hidden gem here in Victoria Falls. With panoramic picnic spots right on the banks of the river, it offers itself as a muse for brush and blank canvas. Guests will be taken through the park accompanied by a professional guide and artist, stopping where inspiration calls, and arriving at a riverside spot with set up easels and provided snacks.

Sunset Session and dinner over the Batoka  Gorge

The view over the Batoka gorge and of the Victoria Falls Bridge is nothing short of breathtaking. Expansive basalt rock faces frame and hold the mighty Zambezi, twisting and turning below on its journey. Clients will enjoy a session set up overlooking the gorge, sketching and painting into sunset, cocktail in hand. The story held in the creation of the gorge, and the bridge, is one steeped in history, and should be captured with the understanding of its significance. Dinner to be served at the restaurant after the sun goes down.

Art Jamming - a Paint and Sip Experience

There is little which beats an African sunset. The deep variations of colour captivate and encompass the romance of the bush. Lead into the evening by capturing shades of expression on canvas, private tutor leading the way and glass of wine in hand. A fun and creative way to spend time as a family or group, taking home a personal memoir of your African experience. This workshop may be set up in a location of your choice – in the Safari Lodge gardens, along the river bank, or upon a sunset cruise.
