Art of the Okavango

​In partnership with Okavango Horse Safaris we are launching our first official Art Safari, where each day is experienced through a creative lens. This privately owned, exclusive operation is located within a 90,000-hectare unfenced private concession in the south-west of the Okavango Delta; a rare and truly wild landscape shaped by the Xudum river system, expansive floodplains, and forested islands. 

 

Led by professional guides and award-winning wildlife artist, Joni-Liegh Doran, we will offer intimate 5 - 7 day painting retreats; exploring some of the most remote and untouched areas of the Delta; outings that honour the wilderness, the horses, and the slow intelligence of being fully immersed in place; collecting moments that result in a visual diary of their trip. Limited to only 12 guests, this exclusive journey offers an immersion into an artist’s African dreamscape of the Delta.

This expansion introduces a multi-destination offering with Art of Africa, inviting clients to immerse themselves in creative sessions with local artists across Southern Africa. From Victoria Falls to Cape Town to the Okavango Delta, this golden triangle of artistic inspiration offers a deeply layered and transformative experience.
